Retro Vault Elite Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
Retro Vault Elite helps collectors track retro video game collections, view market values, and manage ownership data. This policy explains what information the Retro Vault Elite website may process.
Account information
If you create an account, Retro Vault Elite stores your email address, optional display name, password hash, account creation date, and collection sync data. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
Collection information
The website stores collection preferences such as owned games, wanted games, favorite games, complete-in-box marks, purchase prices, notes, barcode mappings, and currency choice so your vault can persist between sessions.
Market and catalog data
Game catalog records, price snapshots, and cover images are loaded from Retro Vault Elite catalog content and linked market sources. Market values are reference estimates and may change over time.
Cookies
Retro Vault Elite and its advertising and analytics partners use cookies. Cookies are small text files placed in your browser to recognise returning visitors and serve relevant content.
- Session and account cookies — used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences between visits.
- Google Analytics cookies — used to collect anonymous information about how visitors use the site, such as pages visited, device type, and referrer source. Opt out of Google Analytics.
- Google AdSense and DoubleClick cookies — used by Google to serve personalised advertising based on your browser's visit history across sites. These cookies are set and controlled by Google. Manage your Google ad settings.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality such as staying signed in. For more detail on how Google uses data in advertising, see Google's advertising policies.
Advertising
Retro Vault Elite displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google uses the cookies described above to show ads that may be personalised to your interests. Ad personalisation can be turned off at adssettings.google.com.
Analytics and tracking
Retro Vault Elite uses Google Analytics and basic first-party page-view counting to understand traffic, popular pages, device type, and referrer sources. The first-party counter is used for aggregate product reporting and does not show public visitor lists.
Email updates
If you join the weekly market movers list, Retro Vault Elite stores your email address and signup source so updates can be sent later. You can choose not to join this list.
Sharing
Collection data is not sold by Retro Vault Elite. Third-party advertising, analytics, hosting, and email providers may process limited data as required to deliver ads, analytics, password reset email, site hosting, and newsletter delivery.
